There is always a buzz about Superstar Rajinikanth in Tamil Nadu any time of the day and over the course, I happened to hear about a Pizza restaurant named after Superstar.
SuperStar Pizza, the name was simple yet powerful and in turn, I Googled and got some pictures uploaded by some customers and the restaurant was in Besant Nagar right by the beach which is quite near my place. As a Superstar fan, the pictures got me curious as the restaurant was filled with huge Superstar paintings.
One fine evening I along with my friend who is also an ardent superstar fan decided to visit the restaurant. Once we reached there we were greeted with huge Superstar posters right from the entrance and it was refreshing for a restaurant. Though it’s named Superstar the restaurant can only house as few as 30.
Inside the shop, superstar welcome us with his crazy look.The posters inside were taken from Superstar’s super hit movies namely Thillu Mullu, Petta, 2.0, Kabali, etc. A Superstar movie without songs would make the film incomplete, similarly, the restaurant was full on beats with only Superstar’s super hit songs running in the background making the ambience complete for any Thalaivar FAN.
Coming to the food department the menu card was filled with dishes named after thalaivar’s song and character names. After some deep thinking, we ordered Aasai Nooruvagai(a famous song from the superstar movie Adutha Varisu) medium-sized Pizza – SmokedChiken with Extra Cheese and some french fries and my friend ordered.
Though I’m not into pizza, I went only for the Thalaivar’s name tag and probably that’s why they named the restaurant so. Nevertheless, the pizzas tasted nice and you won’t be disappointed. The shop is filled not only by superstar fans, family people and teenage guys were also coming often.
Though the price is on the higher side it’s worth just for the ambiance around and the place can be thoroughly enjoyed with a bunch of Superstar fanatics.
